About The Position

The Maintenance Technician works within teams to troubleshoot production issues and provide preventative maintenance to equipment. The role maintains production machinery and related equipment, makes timely repairs, and helps keep tools, materials, and the work area safe and organized.

Requirements

• Able to use various power and hand tools; experience is preferred.
• Able to read and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to cross-train between departments.
• Able to read and follow work instructions.
• Able to work 40–60 hours per week.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Good attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety rules and wear personal protective equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on air compressors, rolling stock, production machinery, and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery using schematics.
• Perform timely repairs on hand tools such as drills and saws.
• Proactively communicate needs to the purchasing department.
• Repair or rebuild welding leads.
• Perform maintenance during production when issues arise.
• Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when applicable.
• Fill Loctite cartridges for skins.
• Store tools and materials in their proper locations when not in use.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
