About The Position

iNRCORE Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Facility Cleaner for its Dyco Electronics facility in Hornell, New York. This role helps maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of the facility in support of safe and efficient operations. The cleaner performs routine cleaning and upkeep of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, production support areas, and other facility spaces, as well as scheduled duties and special cleaning projects. This is a part-time position for 24 hours per week. The role requires following cleaning schedules and procedures, using supplies and equipment safely, and notifying a supervisor about supply shortages, safety hazards, or maintenance needs. Physical work includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance. The position may involve working in office, production support, and common areas, along with light outdoor cleaning tasks where needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and cleaning procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself professionally in all facility areas.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to safely use cleaning tools and equipment, including mops, vacuums, carts, and cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work in office, production support, and common areas.

Responsibilities

Perform daily restroom cleaning, including sanitizing fixtures, countertops, and mirrors and replenishing supplies.
Clean and maintain breakrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust office and facility spaces as assigned.
Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated collection areas.
Maintain cleanliness of production support areas through non-technical cleaning.
Clean glass surfaces, entryways, and high-touch areas throughout the facility.
Assist with light outdoor cleaning, such as clearing walkways or cleaning entry areas, as applicable to the site.
Notify a supervisor of cleaning supply shortages, safety hazards, or facility maintenance needs.
Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists.
Support special cleaning projects, seasonal deep cleaning, and event-related cleaning as needed.
Follow company safety rules and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
Perform other cleaning or sanitation duties as assigned.
