Facilities Cleaner
About The Position
iNRCORE Group is seeking a part-time Facility Cleaner for its Dyco Electronics facility in Hornell, New York. The role helps maintain the facility’s cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation to support safe and efficient operations. The cleaner performs routine cleaning and upkeep of office areas, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, production support areas, and other facility spaces, along with scheduled duties and special cleaning projects. The position is 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high housekeeping and sanitation standards. The work involves following cleaning schedules and procedures, using cleaning tools and chemicals safely, and working across office, production support, and common areas.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and behave professionally throughout facility areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

- Ability to work in office, production support, and common areas.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, countertops, and mirrors, and replenish supplies.
- Clean and maintain breakrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust office and facility spaces as assigned.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated collection areas.
- Maintain production support areas through non-technical cleaning.
- Clean glass surfaces, entryways, and facility high-touch areas.
- Assist with light outdoor cleaning, such as clearing walkways or cleaning entry areas, where applicable.
- Notify a supervisor about supply shortages, safety hazards, or facility maintenance needs.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistent coverage.
- Support special cleaning projects, seasonal deep cleaning, and event-related cleaning as needed.
- Follow company safety rules and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
- Perform other assigned cleaning or sanitation duties.
