About The Position

The Facility Attendant assists with daily operations at Old Fort Golf Club, a busy municipal golf course and driving range. The role supports golf cart operations, driving range maintenance, facility cleanliness, customer service, tournaments, and special events. Employees are expected to maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have current CPR/AED certifications or be able to acquire them within three months from the date of hire.
Must be able to stand and walk typically, and intermittently sit, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and lift and carry recreational equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience as a facility attendant, customer service representative, or in closely related work.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist golfers and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Clean, stage, organize, and prepare golf carts for daily play.
Ensure golf carts are properly charged and stored, and inspect them for damage or maintenance concerns.
Collect, wash, and replenish driving range balls throughout the day.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of driving range hitting stations, equipment, and surrounding areas.
Maintain the cleanliness of the cart barn, cart staging areas, and other assigned facility areas.
Assist with tournament and outing preparation, including cart staging, signage, and event setup.
Assist golf shop personnel with daily golf operations and customer needs.
Safely operate golf carts, range equipment, and other assigned machinery.
Complete daily opening, closing, and operational duties.
Remain productive, take initiative, and identify tasks needing attention without constant supervision.
Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, and maintenance issues to supervisors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
