About The Position

As a Facilities Technician, you will help keep the grounds and facilities attractive, clean, safe, and ready for guests. The role includes inspecting facilities, performing maintenance and repairs, landscaping, maintaining the misting system, replenishing supplies, and supporting storm preparedness and recovery. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques and landscaping principles and practices.
Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
Ability to work safely and effectively with cleaning products and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of facilities for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
Perform repairs and maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
Perform landscaping duties.
Monitor and maintain the misting system.
Keep all areas safe and clean by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
Monitor and replenish supplies.
Immediately report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor.
Complete maintenance checklists.
Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
Remove trash, safely operate the trash compactor, and keep the compactor area clean.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to help ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.
Assist with special tasks and projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
