About The Position
As a Facilities Technician, you will help keep facilities and grounds clean, safe, maintained, and ready for use. The role involves inspecting facilities, completing repairs and landscaping, monitoring the misting system, replenishing supplies, and supporting storm preparedness and recovery. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. PopStroke participates in E-Verify and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, as well as landscaping principles and practices.
- Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work safely and effectively with equipment, tools, cleaning products, and chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
- Perform repairs and maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Perform landscaping duties.
- Monitor and maintain the misting system.
- Keep areas safe and clean by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
- Monitor and replenish supplies.
- Report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
- Complete maintenance checklists.
- Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
- Remove trash, safely operate the trash compactor, and keep the compactor area clean.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Assist with special tasks and projects.
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
