About The Position

As a Facilities Technician, you will help maintain PopStroke’s grounds and facilities so they are clean, safe, and ready for guests. The position involves indoor and outdoor work, facilities maintenance and repairs, landscaping, cleaning, supply replenishment, and support for storm preparedness and recovery. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques and landscaping principles and practices.
Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Experience working safely and effectively with cleaning products and chemicals.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
Perform repairs and maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
Perform landscaping duties.
Monitor and maintain the misting system.
Keep all areas safe and clean by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
Monitor and replenish supplies.
Report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
Complete maintenance checklists.
Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
Remove trash, safely operate the trash compactor, and keep the compactor area clean.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
Assist with special tasks and projects, and perform other duties as assigned.
