About The Position

PopStroke is hiring a Facilities Technician for the opening team at its new Orlando International Drive venue. The role focuses on maintaining safe, clean, attractive, and play-ready facilities and grounds in both indoor and outdoor settings. The position pays $18–$24 per hour and is non-exempt.

Requirements

Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, as well as landscaping principles and practices.
Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
Ability to use equipment, tools, cleaning products, and chemicals safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Inspect facilities regularly for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
Perform repairs and maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
Perform landscaping duties.
Monitor and maintain the misting system.
Keep areas safe and clean by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
Monitor and replenish supplies.
Report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
Complete maintenance checklists.
Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
Remove trash, operate the trash compactor safely, and keep the compactor area clean.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to help ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.
Assist with special tasks and projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
