About The Position

The Facilities Technician supports facility and operational needs at Continental Resources’ corporate offices and remote field sites. The role performs general maintenance and repairs, modifies and sets up furniture, and manages office furniture inventory and redeployment for moves and installations. It also tracks supply levels and orders components as needed. Working with management, the technician helps identify effective business practices and supports safe, clean, smoothly operating facilities that meet company standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of related experience.
Ability to be on call for urgent needs, security, disasters, and/or after-hours special projects.
Ability to drive 150 miles or more per day in all types of weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license.
Acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Proficient computer skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude to operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and troubleshoot routine issues.
Effective communication, collaboration, results orientation, accountability, decision-making, nimble learning, and ability to manage complexity.
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to carry up to 25 pounds with one arm without assistance.
Ability to work overhead for extended periods and perform fine hand and finger manipulations.
Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently to move or manipulate objects.
Ability to work significant amounts of time as required to complete job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Previous OSHA or safety training.
Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Provide general maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to resolve building service requests.
Maintain work order information in the work order ticketing system.
Assist with and implement facility plans and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Monitor vendors for compliance with performance standards, safety policies, and regulations.
Read blueprints and designs for layouts, machinery, and related equipment.
Maintain proper housekeeping in physical plants, mechanical rooms, electrical closets, IDF rooms, data centers, shops, tool rooms, and storage rooms.
Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring remodels and repairs as needed.
Set up, take down, and move office furniture, cubicles, or tables, including lifting large objects when necessary.
Travel to field offices and operating locations as needed to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, facilities, and systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
