Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.). Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Under supervision, uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications. This is an entry-level support individual contributor role. Work is closely supervised and consists of routine tasks. The individual will explain facts and practices related to the job area. Work consists of tasks that are routine, structured within identified boundaries and procedures. The individual will follow established processes to complete tasks and escalate issues to their supervisor for resolution. The role works to achieve operational targets within the job area, which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.
