Entry-level support individual contributor responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.). Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Under supervision, uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications. Work is closely supervised, and tasks are routine. Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Work consists of tasks that are routine, structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks and escalates issues to supervisor for resolution. Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.
