About The Position
High-level technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting, project coordination, and vendor management. This role involves managing facility PM schedules, overseeing large-scale repairs, maintaining code compliance, tracking facility needs, proposing solutions, and mentoring junior technicians.
Requirements
- Leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong vendor and customer service skills.
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience at 3-A level.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and regularly lift 50 pounds or more
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair houses, buildings, or other structures
- Frequent bending and stooping is required.
- Capable of determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Willingness to put forth extra effort
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Maintains a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company insurance provider/program
- Able to work 40+ hours per week
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) year technical degree from an accredited college in an applicable field is preferred.
- Two (2) year experience in commercial facilities maintenance is preferred.
- HVAC and Boiler experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage facility PM schedules and work closely with contractors.
- Oversee large-scale repairs and maintain code compliance.
- Track facility needs and propose solutions.
- Mentor and train junior technicians.
