About The Position

Entry-level support individual contributor. Work is closely supervised. Work consists of routine tasks. Explains facts and practices related to job area. Works with close supervision on routine tasks. Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required. Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Work consists of tasks that are routine. Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution. Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.

Requirements

• Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Good basic computer skills
• Some receiving experience

Responsibilities

• Performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
• Receiving incoming materials, unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
• Maintaining records of received goods, processing freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
• Stocking and distributing materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Supporting stockroom functions such as picking, counting, allocating, and moving stocked material to accommodate Service Level Agreements with programs to meet production schedules.
• Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Lifting heavy items and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
