About The Position

RRD is seeking a customer-focused Facilities Associate / Day Porter to support the daily operation, appearance, and functionality of a fast-paced professional office environment. The role supports workplace services, conference rooms, hoteling workstation readiness, office hospitality, vendor coordination, porter services, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional workplace experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Requirements

At least 1 year of work experience in facilities, property management, or building operations.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven customer service skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook email and calendar.
Experience navigating a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem-solve, rationalize, and mitigate or manage obstacles.
Self-starter with a task-oriented leadership approach.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and complete projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of office common areas, conference rooms, pantries, and shared workspaces.
Conduct routine office inspections and promptly address facility, housekeeping, and safety concerns.
Respond to employee requests related to workplace services, office comfort, access, and facility issues.
Set up, inspect, and reset conference rooms for meetings, client events, and special functions.
Provide first-level support for workstation and office setup.
Coordinate meeting support, catering setup, and room-readiness activities.
Reset hoteling workstations and shared workspaces daily to ensure spaces are clean, organized, and fully functional.
Manage office supply inventories and replenish pantry, hospitality, and restroom supplies as needed.
Coordinate with building management and vendors regarding maintenance, janitorial, security, HVAC, and other facility services.
Support office moves, furniture reconfigurations, onboarding and offboarding activities, and workplace projects.
Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
Maintain a professional, welcoming, and service-focused office environment.
