About The Position

Keep Supply is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join their People and Culture Team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming workplace for team members. The position supports daily operations by ensuring all common areas, restrooms, offices, and support spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality. The role requires attention to detail, time management, and proactive care of the facility. This position plays a critical role in employee health, safety, and overall workplace experience, directly impacting productivity, morale, and company reputation.

Requirements

  • Prior commercial cleaning or facilities experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills a plus.
  • Basic small furniture assembly.
  • Professional, respectful interaction with employees.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all restrooms, including fixtures, floors, mirrors, and dispensers.
  • Refill restroom supplies (soap, paper products, hygiene items).
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
  • Clean and maintain breakrooms, kitchen areas and coffee stations.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs in high-traffic areas, sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, switches, shared equipment).
  • Spot clean glass, doors, and interior windows.
  • Perform scheduled deep cleaning of restrooms, floors, baseboards, and walls.
  • Shampoo carpets or spot clean as needed.
  • Dust vents, ledges, blinds, and corners.
  • Deep clean appliances and common-area furniture on a rotating schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness of conference rooms and shared spaces.
  • Replace light bulbs, batteries, and air fresheners.
  • Set up and break down conference rooms and event spaces.
  • Monitor facility condition and report maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with People Experience Manager for repairs beyond scope.
  • Monitor, stock, and organize cleaning, kitchen and restroom supplies.
  • Maintain janitorial equipment in working condition.
  • Order supplies as needed and track usage.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals.
  • Respond promptly to spills, messes, and urgent cleaning needs.
  • Support company events and meetings (setup and cleanup).
  • Assist with seasonal or special cleaning projects.
  • Adjust cleaning priorities based on daily business needs.
  • Follow OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules and logs.
  • Report hazards or safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with SDS and chemical handling requirements.
  • Secure facility areas as required.
