About The Position

V2X is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Specialist to own our document and physical record retention program and manage shipping and receiving operations. This role ensures compliant records lifecycle management and efficient movement of materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and one (1) year additional education and/or experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in an office or storage warehouse environment, preferably with experience in personnel document filing.
  • United States citizen, required
  • Knowledge of filing systems, MS Office, and office equipment.
  • Good command of English, both oral and written
  • Dependable with respect to confidentiality and policies
  • Team player
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform required tasks within time constraints
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skill
  • Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and sort mail
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with carriers: prepare labels, packing lists, and shipping documentation
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
  • Coordinate and track maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain and operate the Records Retention Information Management System (RRIMS) for the company
  • Perform inventory, data entry, cross-referencing, scanning, copying and retrieval
  • Maintain efficient and accurate filing system
  • Prepare boxes for shipping to off-site location
  • Edits roster of terminated files
  • Performs mapping functions for file locations
  • Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information
  • Retrieve records when requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned
