About The Position

The Facilities Shift Supervisor oversees facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during an assigned shift, ensuring maintenance, repair, and emergency matters receive an appropriate and timely response. The supervisor assists the Facility Manager with efficient department operations, assigns and schedules staff work, oversees preventive maintenance, responds physically to emergencies, and oversees daily cleaning of the property, including the casino floor, restrooms, and slot machines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior experience in a similar position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during the assigned shift.
• Ensure maintenance, repair, and emergency matters are addressed and resolved appropriately and promptly.
• Assist the Facility Manager in ensuring efficient and proper facility maintenance department operations.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Physically respond to emergencies such as fires, power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and other emergencies or repairs.
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property, including the casino floor, restrooms, and slot machines.
