About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Facilities Supervisor to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The role oversees daily facilities work, supports local facilities emergencies, supervises projects, and performs equipment repairs. It provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees, typically with two or more direct reports. The position interacts daily with subordinates and functional peer groups and uses a computer for simple functions.

Requirements

A minimum of 2–4 years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Forklift certification.
Ability to use powered tools safely.
Working knowledge of basic construction tools.
Demonstrated good safety practices.
Ability to manage vendors.
Working knowledge of general facilities.
Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Communication skills.

Project management skills.

Responsibilities

Support local facilities emergency needs, 24/7.
Prioritize daily work of Facilities Technicians.
Supervise local projects as needed.
Advise the manager of expenditures.
Interact daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups.
Directly supervise professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees; typically supervise two or more direct reports.
Perform basic to moderately complex equipment repairs, including electrical repairs.
Use a computer for simple functions.
