About The Position

The Facilities Project Manager oversees a portfolio of facilities and infrastructure projects across multiple sites, with a focus on laboratory, manufacturing, and technical environments. The role takes ownership of active projects and leads new work from planning and budgeting through procurement, permitting, scheduling, execution, turnover, and closeout. Projects may include utility and power installations, HVAC and exhaust modifications, plumbing and data infrastructure upgrades, warehouse enhancements, and specialized equipment installations. The position also supports continuity and an organized handoff of active projects during a facilities account transition. The position is based onsite in Sunnyvale, California, with travel between local facilities as project needs require. Projects take place in occupied commercial, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, and technical spaces, so work must be planned to minimize operational disruption and downtime. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate milestones, inspections, and contractor coordination. The role involves collaboration with facilities teams, engineers, architects, vendors, contractors, and corporate stakeholders, and use of Microsoft Office, CAD software such as AutoCAD, and computerized maintenance or work-order systems. Professional attire appropriate for corporate facilities and construction settings is expected, including suitable clothing and footwear for construction areas and technical spaces.
