About The Position

Vishay Dover is hiring a full-time, first-shift maintenance technician to support a 35,000-square-foot facility in a clean, climate-controlled environment. The role involves equipment installation, setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance, along with facility-related custodial and maintenance tasks. Starting wage depends on experience. Flexible scheduling, consistent hours, opportunities for overtime, and promotional opportunities within the first year are offered. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable federal regulations because the position requires access to export-controlled information.

Requirements

Associate or technical degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering or technology, or equivalent experience.
Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision.
Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform all work functions while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.15.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of related facility maintenance experience.
Electrical and plumbing knowledge or schooling.
Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and ability to interface with governmental agencies, and/or previous certifications.

Responsibilities

Install, set up, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
Perform custodial and maintenance tasks involving compressed air, electrical systems, emergency preparedness and safety, HVAC, plumbing, facilities, and grounds.
Oversee outside contractors.
Maintain adequate inventory and organization of spare parts for site equipment.
Serve as a member of the Safety Team.
Assist engineering and production teams with floor layout changes, new equipment introductions, and continuous improvement actions.
