About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for independently troubleshooting and repairing all mechanical equipment and their associated systems in Carle facilities as well as fire protection and alarm systems and for performing preventative maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Licensed Plumber - Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH); OR
- License-Electrical Contractor - Varies; OR
- Section 608 Universal Technician Certification - Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)
- 8yrs of Operations; HVAC mechanic
Responsibilities
- Performs all essential job functions of Maintenance Mechanic II.
- Assists in general inventory control practices.
- Maintains equipment in safe and efficient working condition.
- Performs inspections of all maintenance equipment and reports their condition to the supervisor.
- Performs preventative maintenance / repair of equipment.
- May be responsible for the maintenance and repair of: plumbing systems, pumps, sprinkler systems and HVAC systems.
