About The Position

Temco Logistics is seeking (3) Facilities Management Specialists to oversee maintenance operations across multiple distribution centers within a defined geographic region. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities, equipment, and services are functional, well-maintained, and safe for associates by executing established standard operating procedures across Compliance, Safety, Central Operations, and Facilities. This is a highly collaborative, field-based role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive operational consistency across multiple sites. Candidates must reside within the region they will oversee North - IL, IN, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NH, NJ, NY, OH, SD, VT South - AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, PR, TN, TX, VA, WV West - AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, WA, WY

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in facilities, maintenance, or multi-site operations
  • Trade school certification or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in environments that may include unclean warehouse conditions
  • Willingness to travel overnight 25–50%
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Ability to manage vendors and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for emergency situations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site preservation and maintenance processes across assigned locations
  • Identify and resolve facility-related issues to improve overall quality and compliance
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to structural, tenant improvement, service disruptions, and equipment challenges
  • Partner daily with Facilities, Compliance, Operations, and Real Estate/Legal teams
  • Support internal audits, ensure compliance adherence, and contribute to strategic program execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors
  • Coordinate on-site work, provide performance feedback, and manage quote/RFP processes
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance and repair services
  • Manage divisional P&L in alignment with budget expectations
  • Follow approval workflows and communicate cost-related decisions and action plans
