Axle is seeking a Facilities Management Assistant to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the Baltimore, MD.

Requirements

Associate's degree
Facility maintenance, grounds maintenance, managing budgets, allocation and management of building space, general data acquisition and architectural programs; strong oral and written communication skills
MS Office Suite, Outlook
Valid Maryland Class D driver's license

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver supplies to offices, wards, clinics, and other buildings both on and off hospital grounds using skids, pallets, carts, hand trucks, automobiles, and trucks.
Cover regularly scheduled mail route; hand deliver mail, specimens, and supplies to city agencies and non-city agencies and offices.
Load and unload equipment and supplies from trucks and automobiles; verify invoices.
Use a van to transport individual patients, staff, or groups between hospital buildings, offices, etc.
Complete and maintain non-complex reports and work records.
Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment such as glasses, metal instruments, sinks, tables, and test panels; ensure that adequate clean inventory is available for immediate usage.
