About The Position
The City of Pearsall is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving city-owned buildings and public facilities. The goal is to ensure safe, functional, and efficient operations for both employees and the public. This role involves performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, landscaping, general building repairs, and assisting with custodial work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
- Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have repair skills.
- Be able to have a flexible work schedule.
- Must have good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of general electricity principles is a plus.
- ACI HVAC experience is a plus.
- Possess, or ability to obtain, applicator's pesticide & herbicide control licensing.
Responsibilities
