About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains Larson Automotive Group facilities and helps ensure dealerships maintain a professional appearance. The ideal candidate is productive, takes pride in their work, and has broad hands-on skills in areas including carpentry, electrical work, heating, and plumbing. The role is full-time, located in the Tacoma Metro area of Washington, and reports to the General Manager. The listed salary range is $25.00–$35.00.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and carpentry.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, bucket truck, and scissor lift, and hold certification for them.
• High level of work ethic.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
• Repair, maintain, and monitor equipment and amenities.
• Maintain the exterior property.
• Operate heavy machinery, including a forklift, bucket truck, and scissor lift.
• Perform other job duties as requested.
