Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
FrankCrum is hiring a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform building and grounds maintenance at its Clearwater, Florida headquarters. The role covers general repairs and services, plumbing, HVAC and roof equipment maintenance, supplies, property security, facility requests, mail transportation, waste and recycling, break-room stocking, furniture moves, and company-event setup and teardown. The technician also conducts scheduled safety checks of facility systems and opens and secures the property for daily operations. Overtime and weekend work may be needed after training.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- One year of facilities maintenance experience.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations and building codes, including OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of general principles and techniques of plumbing, wood finishing, painting, electricity, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance, including light bulb changes, caulking, filter changes, painting, lock repairs, fountain maintenance, window-covering installation and repair, preventive maintenance, HVAC repairs, and carpet cleaning.
- Replace washers, faucets, and seals; repair leaky faucets; clear clogged drains; and install and repair sprinklers.
- Conduct monthly inspections and maintenance of building and HVAC roof motors and fans, replacing them as needed.
- Assist with stocking, unloading, and delivering supplies.
- Help maintain property security and respond to facilities requests.
- Cover security and mailroom duties as needed.
- Drive an automobile to transport mail and packages to the U.S. Post Office.
- Dispose of waste, empty recycling bins, stock break rooms, maintain the grounds, assist with cubicle remodeling and furniture moves, and set up and tear down company functions.
- Perform scheduled safety checks of systems such as elevators, generators, and fire systems.
- Open and secure the property at the end of daily operations.
- Work overtime and weekends after training if needed.
