About The Position

Under close supervision and reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on specialized building equipment and systems. The role involves completing multiple daily tasks across the building and grounds, maintaining the work order system, and documenting work as instructed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work well with co-workers and develop teamwork.
• Present a well-groomed appearance.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Successfully pass drug screening.
• Be at least twenty-one years of age.
• Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to the facility and equipment, including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry, while observing safety standards and policies.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties, including filter changes and motor lubrication.
• Meet and coordinate with contracted vendors.
• Perform housekeeping duties in common areas, hallways, stairwells, and grounds as needed.
• Perform snow removal and landscaping as needed.
• Maintain the Hot SoS work order system and fully document all work as instructed.
