About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the facility. This includes adhering to safety protocols, managing inventory, and executing special projects. The role involves hands-on work in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

Knowledge of how to use a forklift, scissor lift and boom lift
Excellent time management skills
Proficient Painter
Self-starter, driven, and motivated to want to learn and do more

Nice To Haves

Previous experience reading diagrams and blueprints
Previous experience working with electrical wiring is a plus
Previous experience in building maintenance is a plus
Fabrication, carpentry, and plumbing skills are a plus
Previous plumbing servicing is a plus
Previous HVAC experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and LOTO procedures
Check parts of inventory using MP2
Perform special projects as requested
Framing and drywall
Advanced Electrical: Use multimeters to test for correct voltage, amp draw or continuity
Advanced Plumbing: Use threader to cut and thread pipe for compressed air lines
Beginner level welding projects
Drop ceiling installation and repair
Door and window installation and repair
Flooring installation and repair
Concrete patch and repair
Painting and pressure washing
Replacing air and water filters
Assist with Cathode shop monthly rebuild
