About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Washington, IA facility. This is a day shift position with a pay range of $24-$32 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves ensuring equipment operates properly, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, assisting with installations, and documenting maintenance activities in a CMMS.

Requirements

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
Must understand and be proficient with multimeters, meggers, and other electrical testing equipment for testing electrical components and circuits.
Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components and systems.
Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
Must have general understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.

Higher education in a related field a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all new and existing equipment is operating properly.
Troubleshoot equipment for electrical and/or mechanic issues and identify root cause.
Rebuild and/or reseal components as needed to ensure functionality.
Perform or assist with any repairs that may be needed to the equipment, building, and/or grounds.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all equipment.
Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.
Properly entering documentation for performed maintenance into a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) for accurate record keeping.
