About The Position

Esplanade Golf & Country Club at Lakewood Ranch is seeking a driven individual for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Staff position. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, the successful candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the property is well-maintained and functional.

Requirements

• Frequently required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
• Occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• At times, may be required to operate a motor vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Two-year certification from Trade School or equivalent experience.
• Two plus years working experience in a Large HOA or Facility Maintenance environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine building maintenance tasks.
• Performing building maintenance tasks in one or more fields such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Performing general cleaning.
• Inspecting buildings and structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions, making notes and recommendations.
• Performing minor electrical maintenance, including replacing or repairing fixtures like switches, outlets, bulbs, tubes, ballasts, sockets, fuses, and minor appliances.
• Performing minor plumbing maintenance, such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing drain hoses.
• Performing minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, including surface preparation, painting, hanging doors, and fitting locks.
• Reconfiguring, installing, and positioning modular offices and spaces, including furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, and storage units.
• Preparing surfaces and painting various structures and equipment to preserve parts and maintain a safe environment.
• Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas.
• Ordering parts and maintaining required documents.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
• Working flexible hours and weekends periodically.
