About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at a stand-alone ambulatory care center in Groton, Massachusetts. The position requires flexibility to work varying days and shifts based on departmental and facility needs. The mechanic will help maintain a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors, and staff through building operations, preventive maintenance, cosmetic repairs, and basic plumbing and electrical maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience in general building and facility maintenance.
- Working knowledge of cosmetic repairs, basic plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to facility needs.
- Dependability, self-direction, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
