About The Position

As a Facilities Inspection Specialist, Conducting structured walkthroughs of the property and identifying issues related to cleanliness, aesthetics, signage accuracy, and visible maintenance, you'll be the hands-on expert responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our company's buildings. Your role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance duties. You'll use your practical skills to ensure our facilities are safe, fully operational, and visually appealing. Your contributions will be vital in providing a well-maintained and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required
Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, plastering and minor renovations)
Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
Experience performing routine maintenance
Strong organizational and follow up skills, detail-oriented
Professional presentation and attitude

Responsibilities

Conduct building wide inspections of the premises and equipment both inside and outside (taking pictures & report)
Take pictures of any deficiencies to be addressed regarding cleanliness, aesthetics, signage accuracy, and visible maintenance
Identify issues or deficiencies with regards to the building, subjected to multiple departments, Facilities, Grounds, F&B, Housekeeping, EGD Technicians, etc.
Offer corrective measures to issues identified during inspection and be able to perform preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, generators, ventilation, silos, watershed, pumping stations etc.
Help schedule with multiple vendors along with the facilities coordinator or housekeeping in order to identify and resolve issues
Handle everyday repairs and maintenance on site
Oversee contractors in occasions when professional repairs or servicing is necessary
Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
Work on preventative and reactive maintenance
Move gaming machines and poker tables as required
Take daily pictures of the construction site’s condition and progress
Conduct regular walkthroughs of the construction site to monitor progress and report observations
Responsible for the construction materials receiving area and site access control
Coordinate the delivery of construction material with the General Contractor & Sub Trades
Oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements
Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance materials
Perform regular counts and reconcile discrepancies
Organize storage areas for efficiency and accessibility
Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorders
Log all maintenance and QA items in tracking systems
Follow up with internal teams and contractors
Ensure timelines are respected and no items are left unresolved
