About The Position

Lineage is looking for an Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance to join our team! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance management.
  • Work experience with ammonia, freon, and/or CO2 refrigeration systems.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP), including program implementation and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their applications.
  • Excellent proficiency with computer tools, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -25°C in cold storage warehouses or up to 37°C in dry storage facilities, while wearing personal protective equipment provided by the company.
  • Must be comfortable working in various noise levels, which can sometimes be high.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, provide performance feedback, and assign tasks to employees to ensure productivity, efficiency, and performance.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with programs related to fire safety, security, risks, environment, and occupational health and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure alignment of priorities, review monthly utility reports, and adhere to established annual budgets for labor and materials.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance work using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Formulate recommendations regarding future capital investment projects and ensure their timely completion.
  • Coordinate all electrical maintenance activities.
  • Participate in site-specific projects related to energy efficiency studies in collaboration with Lineage's energy management department.
  • Provide recommendations regarding the design and management of future building expansions in collaboration with the network optimization team.
