About The Position
Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Facilities Engineer I. The hospital is a 291-bed acute care facility serving the San Diego community and providing a range of medical, surgical, emergency, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services. The role maintains equipment logs and supports a safe working environment by maintaining and repairing hospital equipment and systems. Driving may be required for company business. This is a temporary, day-shift position.
Requirements
- Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid current state driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Zero to one year of healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs for hospital equipment.
- Help provide a safe working environment.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems and equipment.
- Drive as needed for company business.
