About The Position

The Facilities and EHS Technician supports daily facility operations and ensures compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across the aerospace manufacturing site. This role performance hands-on maintenance, assists with safety programs, monitors regulatory compliance, and helps maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient working environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of manufacturing or facility maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and environment regulations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, SOPs, and safety documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace or precision manufacturing environment
  • EHS training or certifications (OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR)
  • Experience with CMMS or EHS management software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine facilities maintenance includes equipment repairs, building upkeeps, and preventive inspections.
  • Support EHS programs (hazard communication, PPE compliance, emergency response, lockout/tagout).
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and walkthroughs of production and support areas.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring including waste handling, spill response, air/water quality checks, and documentation.
  • Maintain records for OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory requirements
  • Help manager contractors perform facility work, ensuring adherence to site safety standards.
  • Support machine and production floor safety: guarding, signage, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow -up corrective actions.
  • Assist with calibration and upkeep of safety equipment (eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, alarms)
  • Support facility improvement projects including layout changes, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and provide on-call assistance when needed.
