About The Position

Embrace Church is seeking a Facilities Director to oversee the physical operations of its three owned locations and support scalability for future sites. The role ensures church spaces are safe, clean, well-maintained, and suited to ministry. It includes managing facilities staff, budgets, inventory, building systems, projects, grounds, safety, vehicles, and facility support for weekly services and special events. The Facilities Director is expected to support Embrace Church’s mission and values and become a partner of Embrace.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction, or a related field.
Proven experience managing teams and multisite operations.
Strong technical proficiency in HVAC, electrical systems, and general trades, including painting, roofing, and carpentry.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Commitment to the mission and values of the church.
Ability to perform physical labor and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Oversee physical operations for three current owned locations, with a focus on scalability for future sites.
Manage and optimize the use of multiple off-site storage units and inventory.
Ensure consistent cleanliness and maintenance standards across all campuses.
Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, prioritizing capital improvements and routine maintenance.
Lead, schedule, and mentor internal cleaners and facilities technicians.
Foster a culture of excellence, servant-heartedness, and attention to detail.
Manage preventative maintenance schedules and repairs for HVAC and other climate control systems.
Lead mid-level construction projects, renovations, and office build-outs.
Oversee or perform painting, basic electrical work, plumbing, and roof maintenance and inspections.
Ensure landscaping, snow removal, and exterior curb appeal are maintained year-round.
Implement and maintain safety protocols, including fire life safety systems and building security.
Manage church vehicle fleets and equipment maintenance.
Coordinate room setups and facility support for weekly services and special events.
