About The Position

Join our team as a Facilities Coordinator, where you'll address residents' daily needs, coordinate activities for designated neighborhoods, and serve as a liaison between the General Services Department, residents, and staff. Highland Springs is a beautiful 89-acre continuing care retirement community in North Dallas, Texas. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of building systems
  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work autonomously

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services
  • Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences
  • Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.
  • Audit all facilities for proper maintenance, repair, and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s)
  • Conduct surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments
  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods
