The Facilities Coordinator performs a variety of duties which involve cleaning and maintaining the District's facilities and grounds to ensure a well-kept appearance and safe operations. This position consists primarily of field work with reoccurring office work and requires the frequent operation of a district vehicle to various work sites including remote locations. Office work requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. Field work includes exposure to all weather conditions and working in potentially hazardous environments. This position requires full range of physical motion with hand/eye coordination: for frequent standing and walking including on uneven terrain; for the use of tools and equipment; for the ability to access confined dark spaces, including vaults, water tanks and manholes; to climb stairs, equipment, and ladders. Position includes the occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 100 pounds and regular lifting of 20-50 pounds of equipment and tools.
