About The Position

As a Facilities Coordinator at JLL, you'll provide comprehensive support to the Workplace Experience team, ensuring our Del Rey, CA client location operates at peak performance every day. This role puts you at the center of facility operations, where you'll coordinate maintenance activities, oversee vendor relationships, and create exceptional workplace experiences for building occupants. You'll conduct daily walkthroughs to maintain clean, organized, and fully functional office environments while proactively identifying opportunities for improved operations and service excellence. Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move furniture as needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively manage stressful situations
  • Self-motivated with confident, energetic, and flexible approach to work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Google Sheets for tracking work orders and facility data
  • Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and compliance standards
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Experience with vendor management for specialized facilities services
  • Familiarity with critical facilities operations and preventive maintenance programs
  • Experience supporting reception, mail services, office supplies management, or event coordination

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to maintain clean, organized, and fully functional office environments while identifying maintenance, repair, cleaning, and equipment needs
  • Execute work orders, preventative maintenance, and service requests with minimal client disruption, ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service
  • Coordinate vendors, facilities staff, and service providers across all building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general contracting to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks including light touch-up painting, light bulb replacement, and basic repairs and installs as needed
  • Provide coordination and support for events and meetings including arranging tables, décor, audio/visual equipment, and temperature adjustments
  • Assist with furniture moves, cube reconfigurations, and general space changes as required
  • Update and maintain accurate records and official documentation for the site including work orders, vendor contracts, maintenance logs, and emergency response plans
