Established in 1968, Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) empowers individuals and families through education, workforce development, arts and culture, and the creation and preservation of vibrant affordable housing and community spaces. IBA operates multiple facilities that support offices, residential spaces, community programs, and public events. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination, upkeep, and operational readiness of IBA's facilities. This role is hands on and operational, ensuring buildings are safe, clean, functional, compliant, and welcoming for staff, residents, clients, and visitors at all of our locations including our Early Education Program. This position coordinates facilities operations rather than managing at a high level, working directly with vendors, janitorial and maintenance contractors, inspectors, and internal staff. The Facilities Coordinator also performs light technical and maintenance tasks, monitors building systems, maintains supplies, and ensures that permits, inspections, and compliance requirements remain current.
