Requirements

• High School or trade/vocational school graduate preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a dispatch or facilities coordination role.
• Experience with facilities CMMS software.
• Understanding of facilities operations and general facilities requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and prioritize all incoming service requests and trouble calls related to facilities maintenance and operations.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to manage work orders, assign tasks to in-house mechanics.
• Dispatch technicians or vendors to address facilities issues, including but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Etc.
• Monitor and track the progress of work orders to ensure timely completion and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, work orders, communication logs, and related documents.
• Act as a central hub between facilities department and hospital staff; providing updates to facilities requests made by clinical staff.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of facility supplies and equipment, coordinating reorders as needed.
• Manage and reduce facilities work order back log list.
• Responsible for following up with clients on complaints/issues.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
