About The Position

Solitude Mountain Resort is hiring a self-motivated, hardworking Facilities Attendant to handle the day-to-day operation and upkeep of facilities in the base and mountain areas. The role focuses on maintaining clean, well-stocked facilities and ensuring they are in good condition for guests. It is a full-time, hourly, year-round position in Mountain Operations.

Requirements

Sufficient communication skills to answer guest questions.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to tolerate and work for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and inclement weather, and to move between indoor and outdoor environments.
Ability to step, climb, kneel, squat, and reach above the shoulders as needed.
Ability to meet or exceed satisfactory performance levels in assigned duties.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to work, the Big Cottonwood Park & Ride, or participation in a resort-sponsored carpooling or public transportation program.

Nice To Haves

Beginner ski or ride ability is required for some team members to commute to on-mountain locations.

Responsibilities

Clean public facilities, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, and restrooms, according to company standards and within required time frames.
Continuously collect trash and debris and sweep, including in winter months; ski or ride to facilities as needed to perform duties.
Communicate pleasantly and respectfully with employees and guests.
Notify the Manager promptly of incidents, accidents, injuries, and property damage.
Transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
Stock, organize, and maintain guest supplies, sanitation and cleaning supplies, tools, and other job items.
Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to prevent injury, waste, damage, or accidents.
