About The Position

CONAM Management is seeking a Facilities and Custodial Technician for Castle Woods Apartments in Casselberry, Florida. The technician will support the maintenance team and help maintain the apartment community’s operations, appearance, and resident service. Duties include upkeep, repairs, turnovers, custodial work, and make-ready tasks. This is a full-time position with full benefits, paying $19.00–$22.00 per hour. The role includes a flexible schedule and participation in an on-call rotation for apartment maintenance emergencies.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in custodial or apartment maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment, including drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills to assess and resolve maintenance issues with minimal disruption to residents.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents, team members, and vendors.
Commitment to providing exceptional resident service.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance emergencies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must pass a background check, employment verification, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean common areas, remove trash from vacant units, and ensure locks and gates meet safety standards.
Paint according to CONAM guidelines and maintain clean work areas.
Clean the property, leasing office, restrooms, model units, and vacant units; manage cleaning supplies.
Assist with equipment upkeep, respond to service requests, maintain tools and inventory, and help with make-ready tasks.
Document service requests, follow safety protocols, and report hazards.
Build rapport with residents, handle complaints, and assist with after-hours emergencies.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
