About The Position

This position is for a Facilities Ambulatory Senior role within the University Hospital | Facilities Administration department at The Ohio State University. The role is located at Outpatient Care Powell (1046) and is a Regular, Full-Time position with 40 scheduled hours per week on the First Shift. Final candidates are subject to a background check, and potentially a drug screen or physical.

Requirements

HS Graduate or Equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight years' general maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years in a team-oriented, multi-function setting
Valid OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health card (to be obtained during probationary period)
Demonstrated understanding of university building design standards (BDS) related to maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment
Demonstrated understanding of the project process as managed by FOD Design and Construction (FDC)
Successful completion of probationary period including demonstrated competence in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC/R.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance.
Work in a team-oriented, multi-function setting.
Obtain a valid OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health card during the probationary period.
Demonstrate understanding of university building design standards (BDS) related to maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment.
Demonstrate understanding of the project process as managed by FOD Design and Construction (FDC).
Demonstrate competence in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R specialties as required for the position's level of responsibility.
