Our office in Falls Church, VA has an immediate opening for a Senior Facilities Technician reporting to the Facilities Director; this is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance or currently have an active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • The employee must frequently grasp, lift and /or move items over 25 pounds.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
  • Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
  • Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test is required to meet position eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the routine building maintenance including but not limited to minor drywall patching and paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning of carpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing (cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets).
  • Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash, general upkeep of the office spaces.
  • Responsible for maintaining the office space to include: spot cleaning carpets, painting marred walls.Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup.
  • Provide maintenance and repair services.
  • Assist in Government property inventory processes
  • Assist in the upkeep, monitoring, and implementation of the corporation’s safety requirements
  • Additional duties as assigned
