About The Position

This position will assist with the daily operations of maintenance and housekeeping staff, coordinate and monitor facilities, services, processes, and functions, and assist in prioritizing service demands. The role involves supporting and troubleshooting issues in the work order ticketing system, conducting audits, evaluating service levels, and reporting findings to the Statewide Director of Facilities. The position also includes preparing and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and records, and performing other clerical duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with four years or more related experience.
  • Experience in a behavioral health care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Must be a team player with excellent supervisory, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as directed by Statewide Director of Facilities to include, but not limited to: Coordinate daily work activities of facilities services to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Employee training.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
  • Requisition of tools and equipment.
  • Make periodic inspections of facilities and vehicles to identify any needed repairs or corrections to meet safety and operational standards and to ensure compliance with regulating body standards (i.e. the Joint Commission, DOE, DOH, DHS, DMH, COA, and Division of Medicaid).
  • Dispatch facilities technicians to assist in emergent situations.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Complete monthly environment of care walk-through and adjust as needed.
  • Participate in monthly individual supervision with Statewide Director of Facilities.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities related to Environment of Care.
  • Responsible for supply orders and inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
