About The Position

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a second-shift heavy manufacturing Fabricator for a military equipment manufacturer in York, Pennsylvania. The role pays $28.41 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $2 shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.

The Fabricator performs manufacturing operations and builds component subassemblies and fabrications. Applicants may be experienced in, or willing to train on, the listed equipment and operations. The position requires working in a union environment and may require a background check and/or drug screening before employment.

Requirements

• Experience with, or willingness to train on, a drill press, cut-off saw, gas cutting, sand-blasting equipment, painting, and stress-relief operations.
• Experience with hand tools such as grinders, tape measures, and scales.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to build component subassemblies and fabrications.
• Motivation to obtain or build upon existing knowledge and skills.
• Willingness to work in a union environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities
