About The Position

Responsible for custom fabrication of customer’s trucks. Support daily functions including, but not limited to: Support all daily functions of the shop Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis. Utilize tools such as: Welders, Torches, Plasma cutters, Shears, Punch presses, Drill press, Metal cutting saws. Fabricate parts as needed. Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques. Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Requirements

General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process
General understanding of truck components
Experience with Welding/Fabrication
Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
Working knowledge of company software and procedures
Great attitude and ability to work with others
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Current regular driver’s license to move our vehicles
Forklift operator certification
Overhead crane operator certification
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check.
Must have a current drivers license to move our vehicles.
Must be able to work 7am-5pm shifts Monday through Friday and 7am-11am shifts two Saturdays a month.
