This role is responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment. The Fabricator I will operate production machinery as a loaded/unloader, or on stations such as a drill press, weld nut, or saw. The position involves conducting inspections using relevant gage plans and operating inspection equipment, as well as troubleshooting issues. Key duties include machine center set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean-up, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance of one's own work and work area. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production targets. Accurate record-keeping according to Stryker specifications is essential. A commitment to quality involves striving for reliability, continuously seeking performance enhancements, and meeting all training and documentation criteria. The role also requires meeting work schedule and overtime demands, including weekends.
