Fabricator I - 1st Shift - $20.50/hr
About The Position
This role involves conducting inspections according to relevant gage plans, operating inspection equipment, and troubleshooting problems with work centers and parts. The Fabricator I is responsible for the setup, preparation, fabrication, cleanup, and quality assurance of their own work and work area. Additionally, they will perform preventative maintenance on machine centers, ensure compliance with the 6-S schedule, and adhere to QSR/ISO procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals. Record-keeping in accordance with Stryker specifications is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Preferred Manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Conducts inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment.
- Troubleshoots problems that arise with work center and parts.
- Responsible for set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance of machine center and compliance with the 6-S schedule.
- Assures compliance with QSR/ISO procedures/policies, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals.
- Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
